Waxporhetoric…a place where I wax poetically with my opinionated rhetoric. Yes, there’s a good bit of wit that floats in the head of the Chia (aka Jerry to some). So what is this all about? It’s about life and everything that it encompasses. Life, motivations, passions, love and relationships, things that annoy (yet the natural optimism on life generally keeps me from bitchin’ too much about things) and things that make you smile. You’ll see me act as a devil’s advocate…not just to be argumentative but rather to make you think about what you’re saying and doing. We are in a time and place where far too many people simply follow without any thought as to what they are doing. Let’s make a better life for ourselves and those around us by thinking about our actions and following our passions.
Chia has successfully co-founded two tech companies (one an Internet consulting firm and the other a company with a patent-pending patch cord) and a consulting firm, has been a web developer, help desk agent, consultant, marketing guru, finance guy, and all around business/tech guy. You can see Chia’s LinkedIn profile for more info or follow Chia’s tweets on Twitter. If you’re interested in the tech/business ramblings of Chia just head on over to Chia Town. Having lived all over the U.S., worked in a variety of positions, and lived through a wide array of life experiences, you will see unique viewpoints on any number of topics. Feel free to chime in…that’s why were here. To elicit thought and discussion.
If anyone has any opportunities that allow me to be involved with soccer, snowboarding, cycling, mountain biking, photography, videography, running, triathlons, adventure racing, or music, shoot me an email and let’s talk.
If you’d like to make a donation to Wax Porhetoric (you know, so I could perhaps fund the hosting fees or even better, get a computer that was manufactured within the past half decade) feel free to contact me. I’ve got the Paypal account and will have a button up here soon enough.
For ANYONE around the world, please send a comment or an email. We’d love to hear how things are similar or different in your part of the world. We can all learn from each other! Perhaps we can help each other out too. Happy reading!
